O contexto econômico da hiperinflação brasileira e os primeiros impactos após a implementação do plano real

Abstract

Esta monografia aborda o período econômico em que o Brasil enfrentou elevados níveis de inflação e desequilíbrios macroeconômicos, destacando a hiperinflação como um dos desafios mais críticos a serem resolvidos, juntamente com os desequilíbrios fiscais nas contas públicas. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi investigar os fatores que desencadearam a hiperinflação no país e todo o processo até implementação do Plano Real. Os objetivos específicos foram: investigar as condições econômicas que antecederam a criação do Plano Real; avaliar as principais medidas adotadas pelo Plano Real e seus efeitos imediatos na economia doméstica e analisar informações sobre os resultados positivos e lacunas do Plano Real na economia brasileira. A justificativa para esta investigação reside na importância de compreender os fatores que motivaram a implementação do plano, os resultados alcançados. O percurso metodológico envolveu bibliográfica e documental, a partir da leitura de documentos, como artigos científicos, dissertações e teses, livros, artigos de jornais, e entrevistas concedidas pelos economistas envolvidos na concepção do plano econômico. Com isso, conclui-se que os objetivos da minha pesquisa foram plenamente alcançados, permitindo reunir informações relevantes e detalhadas sobre o tema proposto. Os dados obtidos atendem às expectativas iniciais e fornecem uma base sólida para análises futuras.This monograph addresses the economic period in which Brazil faced elevated levels of inflation and macroeconomic imbalances, highlighting hyperinflation as one of the most critical challenges to be solved, along with fiscal imbalances in public accounts. The general objective of the research was to investigate the factors that triggered hyperinflation in the country and the entire process until the implementation of the Real Plan. The specific objectives were to investigate the economic conditions that preceded the creation of the Real Plan; evaluate the main measures adopted by the Real Plan and their immediate effects on the domestic economy and analyze information on the positive results and gaps of the Real Plan in the Brazilian economy. The justification for this investigation lies in the importance of understanding the factors that motivated the implementation of the plan, and the results achieved. The methodological path involved bibliographic and documentary, from the reading of documents, such as scientific articles, dissertations and theses, books, newspaper articles, and interviews given by the economists involved in the conception of the economic plan. With this, it is concluded that the objectives of my research were fully achieved, allowing me to gather relevant and detailed information on the proposed theme. The data obtained meets initial expectations and provides a solid foundation for future analysis.
