Aliança com a morte: uma reflexão sobre Isaías 28-32

Abstract

O livro de Isaías tem sido objeto de muitos estudos entre os pesquisadores e críticos, tanto no que se refere a sua autoria quanto nos aspectos de sua linguagem, conteúdo e forma. Cremos que todos estes aspectos e abordagem não esgotaram os assuntos que poderiam ser analisados, e muitas questões ainda se encontram em aberto. Refletir sobre os capítulos 28-32 de Isaías, que abordam a problemática da aliança com a morte e a soberba dos bêbados de Efraim, permitir-nos-á uma análise que se centra em saber se Isaías teria sido autor de um novo conceito teológico da aliança. Hipoteticamente, acreditamos que Isaías teria formado ou criado o conceito de “aliança com morte”. Nosso trabalho trará a análise crítica desta hipótese na tentativa de proporcionar resultados convincentes que visam a legitimar e confirmar nossa suspeita.A aliança de Javé com seu povo, um tema tão comum na profecia do Antigo Testamento, está presente nestes capítulos de Isaías que falam da sua inversão e da tentativa de sua restauração. Em Isaías, no bloco em estudo, a aliança deixa de ser com Javé e passa a ser com a morte nר<n'-ns, nyr.b> “aliança com a morte” A impressão que dá ao leitor é a de que Isaías contesta o novo modo de vida dos judaítas e não tendo muito sucesso na recepção de seus ditos proféticos, assiste ao aumento da crise e perda de identidade de Jerusalém e Judá.Nossa pesquisa buscará entender este novo conceito de aliança no bloco em estudo. Buscará entender se o profeta ao falar da “aliança com a morte” elabora um novo conceito de aliança ou apenas questiona a inversão dos valores da antiga aliança entre o povo israelita e Javé.Ao aprofundar o bloco, a pesquisa possibilitará uma análise crítica de alguns problemas levantados pelo próprio profeta como as questões referentes às mulheres tranqüilas e sossegadas que lamentarão em seus peitos. Outro assunto que pretendemos abordar com atenção é a questão da coroa de arrogância dos tomados pelo vinho, sacerdotes e profetas inclusos neste grupo. Portanto, como entender a elaboração de uma nova teologia da aliança, isto é “aliança com a morte”, dentro dos pressupostos das mulheres nobres e da bebedeira da nobreza política e religiosa? Estaria o profeta nesta atitude fazendo uma crítica em relação aos conceitos de aliança no Antigo Testamento, ou apenas constatando sua quebra e alertando para o fato de que ela deve ser restaurada a todo custo?

The book of Isaiah was object of study by many researchers and critiques: the problem of the authorship as well as the language, content and form were dealt with. We still believe that all these aspects and approaches did not exhaust the topics that can be analised. Many questions are still open for research.The chapters 28-32 of Isaiah have to do with the problematic of the covenant with the death and the arrogance of the drunken persons of Efraim. A reflection on these gives us the possibility to analise the question if Isaiah brings in a new theological concept of the covenant. Hypotetically we believe that Isaiah created the concept of “the covenant with the death.” Our research focusses on the critical analysis of this hypothesis and tries to show convincing elements to prove this suspicion.The covenant of Jahweh with his people, a very obvious theme in the prophecy of the Old Testament, is present in these chapters of Isaiah which refer to the inversion and the tentative of its restauration. The texts we commented show how the acovenant shiftsfrom an covenant with Jawheh towards an covenant with the death nר<n'-ns, nyr.b>. The reader gets the impression that Isaiah reacts against the new lifestyle of the Israelites, but his prophetical words are not received with much success and he becomes even part of the growth of the crisis and the loss of the identity of Jerusalém and Judá.In the further study of the text, the research provides a critical analysis of some problems brought up by the prophet: references to quiet and peaceful women who lament. Another subject that we want to explore is the question of the crown of arrogance of them who are drunk with wine, inclusive priests and prophets.Our research tries to understand the new concept of the covenant. Does the author elaborate a new concept when he talks about the “covenant with the death”? Or does he only question the inversion of the values of the old covenant between Jawheh and the Israelite people? Therefore the question is how to understand the elaboration of a new theology of the covenant, i.e. covenant with the death, within the presuppositions of noble women and the drunkenness of the political and religous nobility? Could it be that the prophet makes a critique in relation to the concepts of the covenant in the old testamennt, or does he only notice the rupture and does he puts then the attenion to the fact that this rupture needs to be restaured in any case?
