A demonização da mulher: do mito dos vigilantes ao cristianismo primitivo

Abstract

A pesquisa propõe uma análise da representação das mulheres no cristianismo primitivo a partir de textos da literatura judaica do período do Segundo Templo e sua recepção na tradição paulina. Analisaremos como as mulheres são apresentadas no judaísmo tardio e no cristianismo primitivo a partir de discursos de depreciação que às relacionam com o impuro e o demoníaco. Em busca de uma abordagem que contemple as literaturas do judaísmo tardio e do ponto de vista das várias relações e trocas culturais, a pesquisa se propõe a pensar as identidades cristãs como fruto de um movimento amplo de recepção literária e imaginária. Nessa perspectiva, analisaremos textos que tratam da formação da cultura e do imaginário em torno da mulher no cristianismo primitivo de tradição paulina. Utilizaremos como fontes, textos da tradição judaica como o Mito dos Vigilantes, o Livro dos Jubileus, o Testamento de Rubén e o texto de tradição paulina de I Timóteo.The research proposes an analysis of the representation of women in early Christianity from texts of Jewish literature from the Second Temple period and their reception in the Pauline tradition. We will analyze how women are presented in late Judaism and early Christianity from discourses of depreciation that relate them to the impure and the demonic. In search of an approach that contemplates the literatures of late Judaism and from the point of view of the various relations and exchanges of cultures, the research proposes to think of Christian identities as the fruit of a broad movement of literary and imaginary reception. From this perspective, we will analyze texts that deal with the formation of culture and the imaginary around women in the primitive Christianity of Pauline tradition. We will use as sources, texts of the Jewish tradition as the Myth of the Watchers, Book of Jubilees, Testament of Reuben and the text of Pauline tradition of I Timóteo.
