Qual a mensagem profética?: um estudo de Amós 5,1-17

Abstract

A presente dissertação oferece algumas sínteses sobre alguns aspectos da investigação sobre o livro do profeta Amós na pesquisa mais recente. Partindo de estudos sobre contextos históricos, estudos hermenêuticos realizar-se-á uma exegese de Amós 5,1-17. Amós foi um personagem histórico ou uma figura literária apenas? A resposta a essa pergunta é bastante intrigante e ainda não é definitiva, como se verá. Também, e sobretudo, busca-se oferecer uma resposta à pergunta: qual a mensagem do profeta? Para tal finalidade toma-se como base a já mencionada perícope. Primeiramente tentar-se-á argumentar sobre a possível unidade do texto para depois identificar e entender sua mensagem e reconhecer seu(s) destinatário(s).

In more recent research, this thesis offers an unfolding synthesis of some investigative aspects about the book of the Prophet Amos. It is a study perspective of a historical context and hermeneutical studies of an exegesis of Amos 5:1-17. Was Amos just a historical character or a historical literary figure? A response to this question is extremely intriguing and nothing definitive from what we can surmise. Also, and above all, it seeks to offer a response to the question; what is the message of the Prophet? The final purpose of this research is to take an already mentioned periscope synthesis. Primarily, try to argue the possible unity of the text thereafter identify and understand his message and acknowledge his listening receivers.
