A atuação do psicólogo com homens autores de violência: alcances e desafios

Abstract

Nesta pesquisa, buscou-se compreender e identificar as intervenção dos psicólogos nos grupos com homens autores de violência contra as mulheres. A proposta foi de ampliar o olhar sobre o universo da violência contra as mulheres e inserir os homens autores de violência como parte de um processo que demanda por serviços especializados. Tal intervenção veio ao encontro da Lei Maria da Penha que criou mecanismos específicos de responsabilização e educação com a possibilidade de juízes decretarem o comparecimento obrigatório à frequência em grupos reflexivos. O trabalho destes grupos, de forma gradativa, vem adquirindo relevância no cenário brasileiro, tanto no que se refere ao enfrentamento da violência contra as mulheres quanto como um trabalho que envolve a rede de profissionais da esfera jurídica e psicossocial. Neste contexto, apresenta-se então a figura do profissional psicólogo enquanto facilitador dos grupos, uma atuação que sai do tradicional modelo clínico, viabilizando o exercício de discussões em grupo e proporcionando a criação de um espaço psíquico na vida desses homens para que possam repensar suas ações, seus valores e crenças. Esta pesquisa foi qualitativa, sendo realizada com quatro profissionais psicólogos que atuam com grupos na região do ABC paulista. Realizou-se entrevistas semiestruturadas as quais foram analisadas por meio das perspectivas fenomenológicas. No que se refere aos alcances dos profissionais entrevistados na pesquisa têm-se: a) a percepção na efetividade deste trabalho quando observam transformações nas atitudes e discursos masculinos, b) repensar a ampliação e novas possibilidades de atuação do psicógologo frente ao fenômeno social da violência doméstica, c) um trabalho conjugado com o judiciário. No que tange aos desafios encontrados destaca-se a não remuneração dos profissionais psicólogos neste tipo de trabalho, atuando de forma voluntária. Desta forma, ressalta-se a relevância do serviço de psicologia que atende questões relacionadas à violência contra as mulheres, uma vez que os trabalhos com grupos destes homens alcança transformações de atitudes masculinas que intereferem nas assimetrias de gênero. Entretanto torna-se necessário investimentos nos seviços a fim de que se ampliem e mantenham em funcionamento.In this research, we sought to understand and identify the interventions of psychologists in groups with men who committed violence against women. This research proposed to broaden the look at the universe of violence against women and to insert men who commit violence as part of a process that demands specialized services. This was in line with the Maria da Penha Law, which created specific mechanisms for accountability and education with the possibility of judges decreeing mandatory attendance at reflective groups. The work of these groups, in a gradual way, has acquired relevance in the Brazilian scenario, both with regard to facing violence against women and as a work that involves the network of professionals from the legal and psychosocial sphere. In this context, the figure of the professional psychologist is presented as a facilitator of the groups, an action that comes out of the traditional clinical model and comes to enable the exercise of group discussions and the creation of a psychic space in the lives of these men so that they can rethink their actions, their values and beliefs. This research was qualitative, being carried out with four professional psychologists who work with groups in the ABC region of São Paulo. Semi- structured interviews were carried out which were analyzed using phenomenological perspectives. With regard to the scope of the professionals interviewed in the research, there are: a) the perception of the effectiveness of this work when they observe changes in male attitudes and discourses, b) rethink the expansion and new possibilities for the psychologist to face the social phenomenon of violence c) joint work with the judiciary. Regarding the challenges found, the non-remuneration of professional psychologists in this type of work stands out, acting on a voluntary basis. the relevance of the psychology service that addresses issues related to violence against women is emphasized, since the work with groups of these men achieves transformations in male attitudes that interfere in gender asymmetries. In the meantime, investments in services are necessary in order to expand and keep them in operation.
