Booktubers: uma nova face da crítica literária jornalística

Abstract

A dissertação realiza um estudo sobre os booktubers e as novas configurações do crítico jornalístico literário. O contexto histórico é feito de acordo com a perspectiva de Zygmunt Bauman e Stanley Fish. O estabelecimento da literatura enquanto texto cultural é moldado a partir de um diálogo entre Antonio Candido e Iuri Lotman e, junto com Mauro Ventura, apresentam a ideia de um crítico jornalístico, que tem como prioridade a mediação da obra artística com o público. Com base nas entrevistas em profundidade semiestruradas com seis booktubers, no levantamento de suas produções no período de seis meses e nas análises de vídeo-resenhas por eles publicadas, o trabalho verifica de que maneira as críticas culturais sobre literatura se estruturam no YouTube e quais relações os booktubers estabelecem com o mercado editorial e com o público e de que maneira estruturaram sua esfera de produção como um lugar legítimo de discussão literária.The dissertation makes a study about the booktubers and the new configurations of the literary journalistic criticism. The historical context is constructed according to the perspective of Zygmunt Bauman and Stanley Fish. The establishment of literature as a cultural text is shaped by a dialogue between Antonio Candido and Iuri Lotman and, together with Mauro Ventura, presents the idea of a journalistic criticism, whose priority is the mediation of the artistic work with the public. Based on in-depth semi-structured interviews with six booktubers, six-month production surveys and reviews of video reviews, the paper looks at how cultural criticism about literature is structured on YouTube and what relationships the booktubers establish with the publishing market and with the public and in what way they structured their sphere of production as a legitimate place of literary discussion.
